Protecting your privacy is of the utmost importance to us.  Here's what we do to protect you:

Our checkout process uses industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to encrypt all personal information so that it cannot be read during transmission. Credit cards are authorized only after we confirm that the card is valid and has not been reported lost or stolen.  We also verify that the "bill to" address provided matches that of the credit card.

We do not store credit card information; you will be required to enter payment information each time you shop with us.  (Please do not send us your credit card information via email, as email is not encrypted.  We will never ask for your credit card information via email.)  Our order form collects customer information that is needed to process an order.  The contact information is used to send information about orders and specific company information to our customers, fulfill orders, and get in touch with customers if necessary for customer service reasons.  We may also use customer information for Hi, Society! Design Studio marketing and promotional purposes.  You may always opt out of receiving mailings, which will contain a link to unsubscribe.  The information we collect is also used to improve the content of our site and to notify customers about updates to the site.

We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, information on what pages customers access or visit, information volunteered by the customer, such as survey information and/or site registrations, including name and address, telephone number, and payment information during purchases.

We use cookies to record session information, such as items that customers add to their shopping cart, record past activity at our site in order to provide better service when visitors return to our site.

If you are under the age of 13, you are not permitted to submit any personal information to Hi, Society! Design Studio.  Our website is intended for users who are 13 years of age and older.  Please ask your parent or guardian to place the order for you.

We will never trade, sell, or rent any customer email address or personal information to a third party, nor will we share this information with any third party except to the extent necessary to fulfill an order or when that third party is strictly acting on our behalf with no independent right to use the information we provide.  Sales, site traffic, customer and related site statistics provided to certain reputatble third parties will never include any identifying personal information.  We will only disclose personal information in the event that we are required to do so by law.
